(2) The generous and faithful people, kawaja Zakkūr deputy of the Patriarch Mār Ēlīā, (3) and kawaja ‛Abd-al-Ahad, the pillar of the congregation, both gave money generously, (4) and so did the priests, deacons, and the general public, A–c 1 2 3 4 (1) along with the other wealthy believers and craftsmen as a whole. (2) Men and women participated in the building of this monument. (3) May the Lord 75 give them a precious reward in the heavenly Kingdom, (4) through the prayer of Mary the intercessor, Mother of Christ, the pure and righteous one. (2) Protect its inhabitants from the treacherous acts of the Slanderer, who hates our race. = l C 1 2 3 4 (1) This is the gate of the house of God (2) in which the Holy Spirit resides.
