English Translation

(1-4) Here is laid the one of virtuous memory Mār Patrōs Ēlīā XII ‛Abbō alYōnān, Patriarch of Babylon. His birth was in Latter Kānōn (January) 1840 of our Lord, his priestly ordination in 12 Hzīrān (June) 1864, (5-8) his episcopacy in 24 Iyyār (May) 1874, his patriarchate in 26 Tammūz (July) 1878, and his death in 27 Hzīrān (June) 1894. Pray for him.
