English Translation

(1) Despite our foolishness, we salute Mary the Virgin, the Apostle Peter who is the architect and foundation of the Church, Mōr Gīwōrgīs, Antōniōs, Ya‛qūb the Dismembered, (2) along with Lūcīa, gathered in this church. May their prayer protect the congregation of the faithful from afflictions and all difficulties, amen. It (the church) was renovated in the year 2056 of Greece. = Hail to you from all … (Garsh.) he appeared like a fetus measured in time and years. (Syr.) He fulfilled the symbols of prophecy. O Virgin, your rank is sublime <over> all nations. He gave you the blessing. (Garsh.) And may majesty (Syr.) be given to your Son and Lord by all races (Garsh.) forever.
