(1-5) In the name of the living God: This holy church of the Mother of God Mary was rebuilt and completed in the year 1847 of Christ, through the diligence of the Great Excellency of the Metropolitan Ġrīġōriōs ‛Īsā, and through the care of the priests: Priest Antūn son of the Priest Bihnām Habaš, Priest Ishāq son of the Priest Ya‘qūb, Priest ‛A(bd)-al-Masīh son of Ni‛mat, Priest Patrōs son of the Priest Bihnān, Priest Mattī son of the Priest Yawsef, (and the care) of Hannā Binnī the Deacon, kawaja Iyyū Hadāiā, Hassō (6-7) ‛Īsū, Mūsā Sakariā, Raffō Qāšā-Jum‛ā, Antū(n) Hannūnā, Deacon Hannā son of 231 Qlīmō(s), and the entire village, old and young, men and women. May God grant them his heavenly Kingdom as reward through the prayer of Mary Mother of God.
