(1-2) In the name of the Living God | the Trinity and the Single One, (3-7) whose throne is in heaven and whose abode is the magnificent light. He is the beginning and the end, and his being has no beginning. Through his everlasting love he sent his eternal Son as he wanted. The Son put on himself a human body 247 out of the nature of Adam. He died and rose up on the third day and he will come again on the last day (8-12) to judge the human race. The chaste deacon and unique son to his parents, Qūriāqōs son of the Deacon Mūšē ‛Ammānū of the family ‛Atallāh left this world, departing to the eternal one.
