EPIGRAPHIC AND ICONOGRAPHIC FRAGMENTS FROM THE CHURCH OF AḤUDEMEH IN MOSUL

This article discusses epigraphic and iconographic fragments found in the ruins of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Ahudemeh in Mosul, which was destroyed by the Islamic State. The fragments, dating to the 13th-century Atabeg period, are from the church's sanctuary gate, known as the Royal Gate.
